A small teapot, for those who prefer making tea in a pot, enough for one mug of tea with a top up. This is a great housewarming, especially when paired with a mug and maybe even a creamer jug. It is perfect for using throughout the day, everyday.

The handle is comfortable to hold while you pour and very importantly, the spout doesn’t drip!

Inspired by the lines in the agricultural landscape, my Fields collection of functional pots are full of energy, individuality and serendipity in a classical blue-and-white colour combination (you just can’t beat it).

Designed as set collection set or as a mix and match group, you can choose all the same style or mix it up with an assortment of dark and light lines.

Each piece is thrown on the potter’s wheel from white stoneware clay and decorated with slip coloured with natural oxides. The contemporary pattern is created using tradition techniques – sgraffito and brushwork. I intentionally decorate each piece differently, embracing the characteristics of handmade objects, to create one-off pieces; know that you will have and use the only piece that looks exactly like this one.

With added detail of a tractor, created using paper resist technique for a complimentary graphic look. For more individuality, you can choose a piece with added detail. Some pieces, like this one, have the added detail of objects found in the landscape such as trees and barrel-domed barns.

The piece is fired to 1240’C in an electric kiln
