I’m currently on the search for a pottery studio in the Waterford city area. When I’m up and going, I’ll be running weekly morning and evening pottery classes and occasional weekend workshops focused on specific theme. My classes are informal (it’s more fun) and you can make what you like (within reason of course). I will teach and guide you through the many techniques of making with clay and you will learn the whole making process - preparing your clay, hand-build (coiling and slab-building), throwing, slip decoration (my speciality), other decorating techniques and lastly glazing.

It’s a great way to spend your time; two and a half hours of playing with clay, chatting with new friends and drinking tea, what could be better?
