A large teapot, for those who prefer to make tea in a pot. It’s the perfect size for three mugs of tea.

Every detail is thoughtfully considered - the handle is comfortable to hold while you pour and very importantly, the spout doesn’t drip! This is a great housewarming or wedding gift, especially when paired with a couple of mugs and maybe even a creamer jug.

Inspired by the lines in the agricultural landscape, my Fields collection of functional pots are full of energy, individuality and serendipity in a classical blue-and-white colour combination (you just can’t beat it).

Designed as set collection set or as a mix and match group, you can choose all the same style or mix it up with an assortment of dark and light lines.

Each piece is thrown on the potter’s wheel from white stoneware clay and decorated with slip coloured with natural oxides. The contemporary pattern is created using tradition techniques – sgraffito and brushwork. I intentionally decorate each piece differently, embracing the characteristics of handmade objects, to create one-off pieces; know that you will have and use the only piece that looks exactly like this one.

With added detail of a barrel domed barn, created using paper resist technique for a complimentary graphic look. For more individuality, you can choose a piece with added detail. Some pieces, like this one, have the added detail of objects found in the landscape such as trees and birds.

The piece is fired to 1240’C in an electric kiln

The piece is dishwasher proof but as with all handmade pieces, they are better washed by hand.
