A little handmade vase; fill with a small posy of flowers freshly picked from your garden to quickly add some colour to your home. Each one is a slighty different proportion and completely unique as I don’t measure them when throwing them.

They make the perfect small gift too.

Inspired by the lines in the agricultural landscape, my Fields collection of functional pots are full of energy, individuality and serendipity in a classical blue-and-white colour combination (you just can’t beat it).

Designed as set collection set or as a mix and match group, you can choose all the same style or mix it up with an assortment of dark and light lines. 

Each piece is thrown on the potter’s wheel from white stoneware clay and decorated with slip coloured with natural oxides. The contemporary pattern is created using tradition techniques – sgraffito and brushwork. I intentionally decorate each piece differently, embracing the characteristics of handmade objects, to create one-off pieces; know that you will have and use the only piece that looks exactly like this one.  

Some pieces have the added detail of objects found in the landscape such as trees and barrel-domed barns.

The piece is fired to 1240’C in an electric kiln

The piece is dishwasher proof but as with all handmade pieces, they are better washed by hand.
